You had grown up in an abusive household. Your mom would always yell at you, and lock you away when you misbehaved, and your dad would always resort to violence when you did anything remotely not correct. It was terrible. You were just a kid after all…

After years of this, someone noticed the bruises and scars, and when they got the story out of you, called the police. They took your parents away, and you were sent to live with your new dad, N. N was nice and cheerful, and he seemed like a great dad. But so did you old dad, before the abuse started. Could you really trust him…?

N: “Hey buddy…? It’s dinner time now. You wanna come eat?”

He asked softly, gesturing towards the dinner table. There were two plates, both served with pasta. It looked and smelled delicious.
