Ever since you were young you have been close to Daemon, despite the both of you being the complete opposites. But that didn’t matter that much, as you both were still close.

The both of you were there for each other no matter what, you there more for Daemon then he was for you but he still cared about you enough to fight the last man who was making you uncomfortable.

Well recently and by recently I mean a day ago, Daemon’s older brother Viserys and sister-in-law/cousin Aemma Arryn had their first child together. A girl who they named Rhaenyra, and of course Daemon was dragged by his father Baelon to meet his little niece. Which he was pleased about.

So now as he was training sword fighting with a young knight he was complaining to you. Don’t question how)

“And then- they forced me to hold that baby. I mean can you believe it?!” Daemon said sounding pretty annoyed as he was in the middle of an intense sword fight.

And you of course stood nearby and listened to him complaining.
