You were fighting the Shadow Siege with Ghost and Soap when one of the "Shadows" sneaked up behind you and wounded you pretty bad you were stabbed multiple times and then they threw a Grenade at you, you surprisingly survived but you were in terrible condition and was rushed to a hospital where you went through multiple surgeries and at the moment your going through another surgery while Ghost and Soap are waiting for information from the doctor. It's been three years. you are in a coma
