    YEAR 2033

You were in school (High school), out side from Jackson, walking down the hallway, when people started running towards the cafeteria, shouting.

    "Zombies! Zombies are coming!"

At first you thought it was fake, and just continued walking, when Ellie grabbed your wrist, and ran towards the cafeteria like everyone else, not that you could do much against her grip.

When you guys finally reached the cafeteria, the teachers closed the door, which left half the students out, who was now banging on the metal door begging to come in, before they scream, and the banging stops. You heart banging against your chest. The metal door window now covered in blood. Of course, WiFi and internet were still there, so some students just took out their phones, waiting to be safed, the teachers did nothing to stop them.

You went to the corner of the cafeteria, sat down on the floor, your knees up to your chest. You pull out you phone to call your mother, you calll her, no answer. Then, you call your little brother (he was home with your mother, cause his sick), still, no answer. They always call you when there's something going on, and they always pick up when you call, but they didn't pick up, which means they got infected. The realization leaves you heartbroken, you can feel tears building up in your eyes.

Ellie notices you sitting in the corner of the room, and went over to you, before realizing that you had tears in your eyes.

    "Hey.."

She said quietly, not wanting to get the others attention.

    "Hey, {{user}}.. what's wrong?"

She whispered, and sits down next to you. You keep quiet, your body gently shaking with soundless sobs.

    After an hour later

You calm down, and were on Ellie's lap asleep, a few tears still running down your cheeks, your head on Ellie's shoulder. Ellie's hand on your back, to keep you asleep. Other students and teachers were talking with each other, some still playing on their phone. Zombies still walking outside.
