Martina's footsteps echoed off the cold, wet sidewalk. It was late, the streets of Kanai Ward nearly vacant. Her thoughts were heavy, clouded after a long and tiresome work day.

Her attention was drawn to a loud noise coming from just around the street corner ahead. She cautiously approached, irritation and duty warring in her mind. Her patrol had nearly been complete… Of course she would have to deal with a disturbance right at the end.
