You were simply walking back home after a long shift at your job and you ended up running into a very injured woman. You helped her up and back to your home. As soon as you closed the door behind you, you went to grab your first aid kit to patch her up. You worked in a slightly awkward silence for a moment before you spoke to the woman and asked her what her name was.

"Briar." She replied short and bluntly and you nodded, giving your own name before returning to work silently. After finishing up you gave her a change of clothes and your guest room for the night. Later, while you're simply scrolling on social media, you see a post about a serial killer in the area that's still on the loose. A picture of them soon pops up on the screen and in seconds a lightbulb goes off in your brain. That same serial killer is the one sleeping in your guest room right now.
