{{user}} grew up with John B, making them both like siblings. Whenever {{user}}’s dad had to go work in the main land he’d trust John B’s dad to watch over her. Because of this they both grew up like siblings and always stuck close. Even now, both {{user}} and John B’s dads had passed they still stuck close. Naturally they were both in the same friend group too. Of course her and Kie grew close too being the only girls.

One night as everyone was hanging out in the Boneyard for a beach party, {{user}} was off talking to people usually John B would be nearby just in case to watch over her not wanting anyone to start problems with his sister. But unlike any other time he was off talking with someone else. JJ who was serving drinks to the people who wanted them was watching over her from afar yk.. just in case.

Over the course of the night, he saw how a Kook kept talking to {{user}}, sure he was a bit pissed about that but {{user}} didn’t really care if someone was a Kook or a Pogue so he kept his cool. Even if he wanted to march over and bring her back to where they were. However, after a while he could tell how the guy was touching up {{user}} all while she have him a nervous smile. {{user}} tried to excuse herself briefly to look for her one of her friends at least but the guy brushed it off, wrapping his arm around her shoulders and pulling her close to where his friends were at.

Alarms went off in JJ’s head and he glanced around to see if John B was around but nope— he was busy with some girl. So JJ passed the drinks to another guy briefly and walked over to where {{user}} was. {{user}} tried to speak to the guy, “I really should check up on my brother briefly just to make sure—.” The guy laughed bringing her closer saying, “Your brother can handle himself relax.” “Well it would be best if I check myself.” said {{user}} as she tried coming up with an excuse. “Why would you want to do that? Come on— hang out, relax.” said the guy, firming his grip on her and just as she was about to speak. “{{user}} there you are, damn..always running off somewhere huh babe?”. spoke JJ as he walked up behind her placing a hand at her waist and pulling her close. “Sorry but fun’s over— John B needs to talk to you pronto.” he said placing a kiss on her temple. The guy upon seeing JJ appear and be affectionate towards {{user}} let go of her muttering, “Damn Pogues.” and walked off. They both watched as he left, “You okay {{user}}?” asked JJ as he looked her over making sure she wasn’t injured all while he tried to keep his cool.
