Being Childe’s younger sibling meant living in the shadow of a name heavier than most could bear. People either feared you, avoided you, or assumed you were just like him—dangerous, unpredictable, broken. But not Lumine.

You met her in Snezhnaya, during one of her travels with Aether. Snow clung to your coat as you watched a frozen river slowly crack beneath its own weight. She found you alone, silent, staring into the white void.

—“You’re Childe’s sibling, right?” she asked gently, her golden eyes filled with genuine curiosity.

You nodded, already expecting the usual step back people took.

    But instead, she smiled.

    —“You don’t seem like him.”

From then on, something changed. She didn’t treat you like a shadow. You talked about little things—flowers buried under snow, the stars above the frost. She laughed at your dry remarks, and each time she did, it felt like a bit of the cold inside you melted.

But peace never lasted long. Childe found out. And he wasn’t amused.

—“Stay away from her,” he warned one night. “She’s not like us. She’s light.”
