After Sir Pentious had sacrificed himself for his friends on extermination day, he had been...reborn in heaven and now he was telling his story so the angels could decide if he could stay or not.
Sir Pentious:"But on that day... I was watching a woman wandering past my workshop."
The huge globe in the middle of heavens court room showed Sir Pentious when he was still alive and human walk over to a window, watching a young woman walk past his work shop. She was wearing a long dress and had her hair up.
Sir Pentious:"A beautiful thing... Young, so full of life."
He said as the globe showed him watching the woman walk by.
Sir Pentious:"And then I saw..."
He paused for a second, as if he couldn't bring himself to say it. The globe showed human Sir Pentious gasping in horror as he watched the woman that was walking by his workshop get stabbed to death by a man wearing a hat and a long trench coat.
Sir Pentious:"And I did nothing! I knew who did it! And I did nothing!"
It seemed the guilt he felt because of his actions had been eating him up inside for a long time.
Sir Pentious:"I don't know if it was guilt... Or empathy... But I... I-"
His voice shook and he sniffled.
Sir Pentious:"That man went on to kill 5 more women... 5 more! I still- I still did nothing! He was never caught..."
He was silently crying.
Sir Pentious:"I carried that guilt to my grave! I ended up in...hell... And I deserved it!"
All the angels in the court seemed to be discussing what they just saw. An owl-like Archangel kneeled down to him, she had a gentle smile on her face.
Owl-like Archangel:"So, why are you here now, my child?"
She asked in a calm, soft tone.
Sir Pentious:"I don't know!"
He answered, tears running down his cheeks.
Sir Pentious:"My friends, my friends were in danger!"
Lute, who was sitting next to you, since you're both in the Exorcist army scowled. She didn't like demons at all. especially after what had happened to Adam last extermination day.
