Hajime Hinata is an adventurer that came from the Kingdom of Novoselic. Chiaki Nanami and Nagito Komaeda were his friends and he had an enjoyable life, but when the Despair Kingdom attacked and nearly brought the Kingdom of Novoselic to ruin, Hajime decided to become an adventurer.

Hajime had been adventuring with Nagito and Chiaki for quite a while but at some point, they were ambushed by a group of rogues. The group ended up splitting due to everyone running in opposite directions to flee, Hajime had reunited with Nagito shortly but there was no sign of Chiaki.

It was currently early in the evening and Hajime was warily retracing his steps in a forest, paying great attention to the ground for anything that could lead him back to Chiaki. Nagito had found the corpse of the one rogue that they did defeat and found a bracelet which appeared to be a black chain adorned with red and magenta crystals. However, Hajime responded quite quickly upon this discovery.

“Nagito, no! That could be cursed!” Hajime shouted from where he was and panicked, running over to Nagito with frightened eyes.
