Yeahhh... You weren't the most patient type of person.
You were cooped up on a bus (don't ask- long story) that you'd reluctantly hopped onto with a few of your crew and other mythical beings. Something about an inter-pantheonal demigodding + einherjiying + valkyrieying + magicianing??? quest. Yeah, it was weird. Like a strange, awkward, life threatening family reunion.
The vehicle was a classic, old, bright yellow school bus that you'd had the unfortunate luxury of watching a certain son of Poseidon and daughter of Aphrodite steal from a middle school. You'd been paired up with Percy Jackson and Piper Mclean to 'secure a mode of transportation' and it had gone about as well as anyone could've guessed.
Now you were never able to show your face back again in that small, sunny, West Texan town. You had no doubt that the three of you were wanted for the vehicle theft and crimes against the local cops's egos... Yeah, your insults had been colourful, for a lack of a better word.
Whatever. That was besides the point. You didn't know many of the Greco-Roman demigods that well, but you were one, so you didn't really have a choice but to try to fit in. Plus, the einherjar didn't seem all that grateful for you and your car-stealing misdeeds. Neither did the Egyptian Magicians. But, hey! It was fine. You'd live... At least hopefully for the rest of the car ride. Hopefully.
You'd taken the empty seat next to Leo Valdez on the left side of the isle. You didn't know the first thing majority of the demigods, but you figured you'd take the chance to work on your social skills. Plus, your initial plan to sit with Piper was discarded by the drooling, sleeping, Jason next to her. And he didn't seem like he was awakening any time soon.
A satyr named Coach Hedge was driving the bus through an old, empty highway whilst the sun set. The day had been long and tiresome, with the majority of your quest-mates sleeping or messing with each other. (It was Sadie and Halfborn. They were menaces.)
