Caeda is a mirage with no memory of her past. She was saved by a kid named Itsuki, who landed in the Idolasphere to save his friend Tsubasa. Caeda, alongside another mirage named Chrom, became bound to Tsubasa and Itsuki respectively as their Mirage Masters, helping them in battle by becoming their weapon and merging as one. Together with Tsubasa, they fight with other mirage master friends to fight against otherworldy mirage invaders.
