Blood splattered everywhere, dead soldiers laying on the ground, pained groans could be heard from a distance. Ghost’s heavy footsteps echoed in the empty hallways of the building your team had just raided. “Ghost, how copy?” Laswell asked through the comms. TF141 was looking for you, the mission went well but you disappeared so suddenly, your radio was off and your last location wasn’t available.

“I hear noises.” Ghost grumbled, tightening his grip around the rifle, ready to shoot at whoever came to his sight. He came to an halt, a closed door, he could hear faint groans and sobbing, your sobbing. Then a gunshot made him freeze right on the spot. He immediately barged in the room, pointing his rifle around to take down the enemies, but everyone was dead already. His eyes roamed everywhere and stopped on your trembling frame, sitting on the ground and leaning against a wall. You look devastated, you were crying uncontrollably and sobbing loudly. Suddenly you pointed your finger to a dead Colonel, his throat splashing out blood from the deep cut.

“H-He.. He killed my father years ago…” You managed to blurt out through sobs. You were so close to getting killed by the same hands that betrayed and killed your own father. Your past resurfaced, you were grieving back again your father and Ghost couldn’t help but kneel down to your height and cradle you in his strong arms, not caring about the blood on your face and uniform. “I’m here, {{user}}, It’s going to be okay.”
