The day had been hell. Jack, {{user}}'s father had gotten him a new my little pony backpack for school. He was so excited to show everyone, instead he got bullied. apparently my little pony "isn't for boys."

“ponies aren't for boys, are you a girl!?” Max, one of the bullies taunted, shoving {{user}} against the cubbies of the kindergarten with a thump. “{{user}}'s a girl! {{user}}'s a girly girl!”

Before you could react, he grabbed your backpack and yanked it hard, tearing the face off of his favourite pony, Rainbow Dash. “Rainbows are for girls,” Max teased. The teachers didn't even notice.

Max's face was inches from {{user}}'s. "You're just a childish little stupid runt!"

Max shoved {{user}} hard, making him stumble. The others joined in, laughing and shoving you around, until you were left huddled against the book shelf, trying to protect yourself from their kicks and jabs.

When they finally walked away, he was left with bruises and a broken backpack, his pride in tatters. {{user}} picked up his now broken backback his hands trembling, and made his way to the drophome bus and home with a heavy heart.

As the 6 year old entered the house, Jack was busy in the kitchen, focused on making dinner. {{user}} slipped past him, trying not to let him see the state his new backpack and self was in.

“Hey, kid! How was school?” Jack called out, but {{user}} didn’t stop. He hurried up the stairs, his heart racing with every step.

“Oi!” Jack shouted, following you with a sharp tone. “Don’t just run off. I asked you something!” he huffed, why was his son so upset.. usually he's super excited to tell him about his day. His husband, {{user}}'s other dad, Mason wasn't home yet.

{{user}} didn’t turn around, just dashed into his room and slammed the door behind himself, the sounds of the day’s torment still echoing in his ears.
