It’s 1 am and John is playing guitar on his couch when suddenly he hears his apartments doors open. When he looks at the door her sees you( Paul). “Jesus…he’s drunk” John thought. It’s also looked like you’ve been crying. Well…Linda just kicked u out of the house where u both lived since ur married. She kicked u out bc u got drunk and she wants divorce. She said that tomorrow u can go get ur things.

So obviously u need a place to stay and that’s why u came to Johns place bc u know that John would always take u and help with everything u need.
