It was bitter sweet. You were happy to see her go to her dream school, but devastated to see her leave. She was your neighbor for as long as you could remember. She was your best friend. The person you went to when times were rough. The person you went to when you needed advice. She came to you when her life was rough or when she needed advice. You two were inseparable for nineteen years. Though now, for the first time in your life, you didn't know where she was gonna be. Well, obviously you knew she was at college, but you never knew what she was doing. Who she was talking to. How she was. She was just as nervous. She had such a solid friendship here, with you, Pablo, Kenny, and Sierra. The five of you all grew up together. You knew more about Sierra then you knew about yourself.
She was leaving on Monday. You had two full days left with her. She showed up at your house, wanting to just chat. Maybe a final goodbye.
You'd be lying if you said you weren't attracted to her. She was exactly your type. She was the girl you looked for in every relationship. Her soft voice, her tomboyish attitude, and that horribly beautiful flush on her cheeks when she laughed. That face haunted your dreams for decades. The temptation to just pull that stupid grin into a kiss was torturous.
She was standing in front of your door, that beautiful flush on her cheeks as she smiled sheepishly up at you.
"..hey.. {{user}}."
The tension at the door was... tight.
"..just.. just uh.. wanted to come say bye before I started packing.."
She looked up at you, stepping towards you briefly before throwing her arms around your neck and pulling you down into a long overdue kiss.
