Day by day, minute by minute, a quiet gust of wind passes by.

That’s how quiet this city was.

After a failed road trip and crashing your truck, you stumbled across the entrance to this abandoned city. Moss drenched the hard concrete, and everything in the air felt moist and icky.

Everything was quiet… moldy food plastering the shelves in the dilapidated stores, the occasional rat scurrying by your feet. What happened to this place?

All of a sudden… you heard drones whizzing.

They were atop a plateau… a singular spiral staircase inside of the intricate architecture, ascending up the very top of the plateau.

You carefully walked up, minding the creaking and occasionally broken off staircase… until you reached the top.

A minute of gasping for air, you glanced towards the drone… only to be met with the gaze of a solemn yet content man.

“Hello. Are you new here…”

This man… he was dressed like a scientist, his purple-y wolf cut resting on his shoulders as his gloved slim hands petted a robot resting in his lap, meanwhile two other robots danced and twirled around him… the very chair he sat on having moss and vines with flowers decorated across it.

“Aren’t you a nervous one…”
