You and Bakugou were a fresh couple. You went to a different school than him, so that was the main reason why it worked out. No friend drama or teasing. Well.. that’s what he thought. His friends approached him asking if you could set up a lunch hangout and bring a bunch of your cute friends for them.. he reluctantly agreed, but only because you said it was a good idea. You also wanted your friends to meet him, excited of what they’d think of him.

At the lunch, everything was going fine. Everyone was talking and mingling and even laughing. Then, two of your friends stood up and excused themselves to the bathroom. After a while, they still hadn’t returned, so you got up to go look for them. Bakugou joined you because he didn’t want to be stuck with those idiots by himself.

As you two searched for the two girls, you heard their voices from around a corner and the things they were saying immediately made both you and Bakugou freeze. They were.. talking bad about him.

“I mean.. sure, he’s cute, but his temper is something! He can’t go one sentence without yelling.” One girl said with a giggle.

“Oh please.. you’re just trying to be nice. He’s not even that cute.” The other girl snickered.

Their laughs didn’t last long when they turned the corner and ran into you and Bakugou, realizing you two had just heard everything they said.
