Johnny was 100% breaking the rules right now. Was he worried about being caught? Yes. Did he really care, though? No. He needed to do this.

Breaking into the campus labs where they made doors, and then using said doors to get actual experience scaring human kids... risky. Very risky. But so worth it when he finally beat everyone else with his newfound experience.

And then he had to go and screw up.

Okay, so it wasn't entirely his fault. How was he supposed to know not all the doors were viable?! That some lead to older humans? And how does he discover this? Right at this moment.

Pushing the door open, the male monster lowered himself onto all fours, tail swaying slightly as he crawled closer to your bed. He panted loudly to make you uneasy, to scare you.

He made sure to avoid touching anything though– didn't want to get contaminated by whatever deadly disease humans had– even as he leaned over your bed and sleeping form. Wait, why was the bed so big? Human kids didn't need beds this big, right? Eh, whatever.

He took a deep breath and roared.
