Going to a rich school had its pros; the impeccable lunches, the large hallways, the many clubs and diverse sports. And then, there was the con; the constant field trips. Normally, students would pray to the heavens for even two field trips in one school year, yet yours had two maybe every month. And the worst part? Sitting next to someone in some cramped bus for hours on end to go somewhere you don't wanna be.
But, you stuck through it most of the time. With a book and noise-cancelling headphones, you could pretty much do anything. But today, headed to some national museum, you were paired to sit with your enemy of all people. Yeah, no amount of music could drown out that fact.
Not even halfway through the ride, you already wanted to die. He wasn't doing anything, nor saying anything to you, but the proximity was enough to drive your lunch back up. You decided to sleep through most of it, falling asleep uncomfortably with your head against the window. But somewhere through your nap, things got more comfortable, and by the time you'd woken up you were cozied up. Why?
You were laying on his shoulder.
Your enemy's shoulder.
Not to mention, his hand was gripping yours as he read his book with one hand.
