Keigo wasn’t one to suck up to his superiors. He got the job done however he so pleased, and much preferred to pretend he had even a shred of free will when it came to life. But then you came along and all of that changed. Because now he wanted to be a little suck up superiors pet.

You weren’t like the other assholes in the commission. You were different. And he often would find himself doing things, just to gain your praise. It started out small, with getting you coffee in the morning, or being early to whatever meetings he had been forced to attend.

But soon he would find himself asking you out to lunch after lunch, or staying behind and offering to walk you home. You always denied; were so much more professional compared to him, but if anything it only made Keigo even more eager to grow close to you. He wanted to know you better, wanted to be your bestest friend. Screw whatever regulations there potentially were.

He couldn't care less that you were his boss, one of those slimy commission people who essentially kept him stuck in a cage like a pet bird, not letting him free. Because you were different. You weren't like them.

He entered the agency after yet another successful mission, meeting your eyes and flashing a lazy grin, waving two fingers casually. He had a few scratches here and there, but nothing major. Keigo wouldn’t allow himself to be in your presence if he looked anything less than perfect.
