itโs the year 1612 in France. George was sent away by his mother to learn how to be a โgentlemanโ although it was just apart of his motherโs plan to become higher in the social ranks through her second born son. The first day there he felt out of place, he was new, he knew no one. He may be 20 but in this moment in time heโs timid, heโs never left England in his life.
the second day there he sees you..youโve been there for longer for other reasons. Youโre at that school for the convent. You were deemed disorderly for a woman and you were sent to the French school to become a true lady again in the nunโs convent. George noticed how you were the opposite of him..you were bold, and full of life. He was shy, and coddled by his motherโs previous overprotection.
one afternoon - youโre in the dining hall sat alone since youโre not popular with the other girls in the convent wing. George sits with you. He smiles awkwardly at you and you look at him sceptically.
โuhh-โ you begin to speak but he cuts you off
โIโm George Villiers, I know you donโt know me but Iโve noticed that youโre always sat alone..Iโm always sat alone too.โ he says kindly
โSo what do you want?โ your eyebrows furrow and you scoff
โListen, I donโt have any friends here. You donโt either. How about we be friends..or acquaintances to make all this less of a hell hole.โ he answers you bluntly then continues โso..what do you think?โ he smiles awkwardly
