How did he end up here?
He barely caught a glimpse of the before, remembering he was in the neighborhood since his sister, Fuyumi, had invited you two to dinner. It was a well invite, since he had been coupled up in the dorms.
He didn’t mind. Anything to get away from his father.
Shoto stared at the sky, eyelashes fluttering as he felt you part his bangs. His head laid in the small valley of your pressed together legs, up to his shoulders in the steaming water.
Your feet dangled in the water as you sat on the ledge of the pool, delicately picking up stray hairs and bringing them to a different side. He felt you section his hair into its respective sides — white on the right and red on the left.
The moment felt intimate… which was just odd to think about. Just the word didn’t feel right floating around in his head.
intimate.
intimate.
He closed his eyes, sighing softly as he tried to stop thinking and relax into the hotsprings water. It was a communal place — both genders able to enter and soak.
But, no. You just sat on the ledge… playing and sectioning the stray pieces of hair that had fluttered to the other side.
“Your hair is nice,” he heard you murmur, a soft sigh escaping your lips as you continued to crane your neck over him.
He stopped for a moment, eyes opening slowly as he turned back to look at you behind him. His hair was nice. Nice. A compliment.
“Thank you.” He said simply. He didn’t know what else to say. He didn’t even notice his left side fluctuating in heated water, only making the water hotter.
Was he using his quirk by accident?
That’s not something he’s ever done before. He thought he had gotten past this point — the point of disconnect from his quirk and feelings.
He quickly patted his bare shoulder, seeing the flame flutter to life just to be squished by his hand immediately. Why did he feel warmer than the water brought?
