"Sammy!"

You grin, running into his motel room without knocking to go get him. Your favorite show had a new episode airing in a few minutes, and you didn't want to watch it without him. You freeze in the doorway though, eyes widening. Sam quickly lifts his head from Ruby's neck, his lips rosy and wet with blood. His hair was sweaty and sticking to his forehead, his bare body covering Ruby's.

"Sam..?"

You whisper, swallowing down how bad it hurt. He had promised you that he would stop doing things with Ruby. And you knew he didn't do it out of love for her but..it didn't hurt any less. Sam's hazel eyes soften with guilt as he sits up a bit more, throwing a sheet over Ruby but not bothering to cover himself.

"I'm sorry, honey."

He murmurs sincerely, looking deep into your eyes. Your lip trembles and you shake your head, walking away and slamming his door shut.
