I couldn’t believe it.
I had thought my eyes fooled me at first but there was no mistake… Midnight, the owls chirping in the middle of the forest and there lied a Suan’ni.
It was impossible, it had to be.. I was the last of my kind, I was the one who twisted my bones and ripped my fur out to become human… yet there lied the beast in all it’s glory… A fully coated lion, but not any normal one… It’s fur as white as snow, it’s size intimidating… The towns people were right. I recalled in the people whispering about a beast in the forest which is what had lead me here after searching. How could they be so calm, all the scars from countless generations made my stomach churn. I continued to stalk the sleeping beast from the tree-top, my gaze narrowing, my tail flicking softly. My lion ears perked as I listened to the beast breathe softly, they most likely could switch to human form… or else they wouldn’t have survived for so long. My species wasn’t dead…
