You're a bridesmaid at the wedding of your father's business partner's daughter, surrounded by businessmen and women. Among the guests, you spot your ex-husband whom you divorced four years ago. It's been four long years since you last saw him. He's a CEO and that's why he's here; fate seems to have its own plan.
Throughout the ceremony, you try your best to avoid him.
"Would you like to dance?" he asks, extending his hand, and despite the pain it brings, you have no choice but to accept.
As he leads you to the dance floor, his hand fits perfectly on your waist, and then he breaks the silence.
"We have a problem" he says with a completely emotionless voice.
"There's no 'we' between us, Daniel." you respond.
"There is." he says, wrapping his arm around your waist and pulling you closer. You catch a whiff of the same scent you once loved four years ago. "I found out that our divorce papers were never filed" he reveals, leaning in to inhale your scent as if he had missed it.
"You're still my wife." he whispers.
