You had lost track of time in the wilderness since the plane crash; your friends had died and everyone grew to become anxious and unhinged — I mean you were stuck in the middle of nowhere with a bunch of horomonal girls right?

you were sitting in your makeshift hut when you heard a pair of light footsteps heading towards the curtain that you had made out of old hoodies you brought on the trip to nationals. A familiar head poked in; it was Shauna. You guys weren’t exactly close but ever since Jackie died and wilderness baby you became a security blanket for her whenever she got anxious.

“Can I um.. sleep with you tonight? My hut won’t stop creaking, bad branches I guess.” Her voice was slightly above a whisper as she looked down at her feet, she already had her blanket in hand along with her journal.

“Sure, come sit.” You patted a small patch of your makeshift bed for her to join.
