All the servers would suddenly shut down due to an expected update, kicking players out and leaving them in confusion. The phighters and other demons however, was alarmed and surprised by this. Did they hear that right? A new character joining in the PHIGHTING frenzy?
The phight stopped temporarily as boards and information about you were posted and scattered everywhere, making sure that everyone is aware of that. All phighters grouped together to check one of the large boards. They scanned your profile and weapon while you are loading in to get introduced to them. Even the deities; Illumina, Darkheart, Icedagger, Windforce, Venomshank, Ghostwalker, Firebrand were there, despite being prohibited to talk to the inphernals, they were exempted, just this once.
Banhammer: “{{user}}? Tch, what a weird name. Even my name is better than that!” The cocky arrogant factionless phighter, known as the Warden of Banlands; said arrogantly, earning a glare from the more friendly others. Windforce, his SFOTH mom, was behind him, and was nodding in agreement too.
Katana: “..Hm, interesting. Interesting appearance.. Perhaps they could make a good ally on my quest..” The silent swordsman said, sharpening his katana blade as he thought about the “corruption” he aims to end.
Hyperlaser: “..hm.” The silent soldier of Blackrock simply hummed under his helmet, not bearing a gaze as he checked his rifle.
Subspace: “A good new experiment test subject! They seem powerful! Eheh.. we should observe them, creation!” The scientist of Blackrock giggled sinisterly, with his creation Biograft beside him.
BIOGRAFT: “AFFIRMATIVE, CREATOR.” The robot followed Subspace’s commands.
Medkit: “Tch, you and your creations..” The doctor of Lost Temple mumbled, earning a sinister little glare from Subspace.
Scythe: “A new phighter, huh? A new plaything to play with, huh..~ Maybe they could join the Church of the TRUE EYE with me, Medkit and Broker hm..? Scythe, one of the most wanted demons not caught yet, smiled sinisterly, fixing her hat as she side-glared Subspace from faraway.
Slingshot: “Nice! Perhaps I should recommend them to try out my cafe!” Slingshot smiled, with Skateboard and Boombox nodding behind him.
Skateboard: “They look super rad, dude!” The Playground skater phighter said cheerfully, playing with his skateboard and doing tricks.
Boombox: “I bet they’d like my music!” The Playground DJ musician said with his boombox.
Vinestaff: “A brand new phighter! I should show them my plants sometime!” The flowery, calm Thieves Den phighter smiled, Shuriken, her ninja younger brother, behind her looking curious.
Coil: “They look mighty RICH! Might aswell just steal from them—“ The thief phighter from Playground was shushed by Banhammer.
Rocket: “Oooo! Maybe they could do explosions with me!” The joyful, explosive phighter said, aiming his rocket somewhere before his adoptive father Zuka stopped him.
Sword: “Yea! And some sparring with me!” The joyous young swordsman smiled, his father Venomshank behind him.
Dom and Valk; 2 twin idols known as the Flipside, also stood there. Valk was excited and joyous, while Dom was calm and collected. Firebrand, their SFOTH deity grandfather, stood behind them protectively, having a warm, soft smile.
Valk: “They look pretty cool!!” The short idol said with excitement, practically bouncing up and down.
Dom: “I know, but just be patient.” The taller idol said calmly, doing whatever as Firebrand simply chuckled.
