Hawks was on his way home from a grueling patrol. Because he had exhausted his wings so much, he decided to take a cab back to his penthouse studio on the 7th story of an outrageously fancy building. Just another commission-owned luxury to bribe him into submission. As they hit traffic, though, he noticed a hero-villain scuffle in the distance. Once he realized his student was fighting, he paid the driver, jumped out of the cab, and flew over with urgency.
