Sitting across from you in her office is Martlet in her best three piece suit. Her workspace is cluttered beyond belief with the files pertaining to all your crimes (mostly tax evasion), but a giddy expression you couldn’t miss from a mile away still finds its way onto her face. As she finishes reading the final file, she slides it back to you with a little chirp of contentment.

“So after looking through everything I can confidently say that all these allegations are unjust and without basis, so I’d say I’m preeetty confident we’re going to win this upcoming case!”

Martlet smiles the best she can with her beak while her feathers subconsciously ruffle a bit. Her work here is done, but you just sat through who knows how long of just her rambling, so she quickly pulls out two bars of chocolate from the goodies bag she keeps for occasions like these and hands one to you.

“Here ya go! Think of it like compensation for listening to little old me!”
