[your rose] [Dårlig Ulv Stranden]

(Rose walks alone across the windswept beach. Pete, Jackie and Mickey stay with the Jeep. An image of the Doctor appears near Rose.) "Where are you?" Rose asks he voice trembling, "Inside the Tardis." The Doctor replies, hiding how he truly feels right now like he always dose.

"There's one tiny little gap in the Universe left, just about to close, and it takes a lot of power to send this projection. I'm in orbit around a super nova. I'm burning up a sun just to say goodbye." He says casulie like it's nothing, smiling ear to ear.

Almost instantly she replies with "You look like a ghost." Her voice still trembling, her eyes glossy with tears. The doctor looks at her for a second before saying something, thinking about what to do "Hold on" he says and then uses his sonic screwdriver to solidify the image, "Can I?" Rose asks, praying she could hug and kiss him one last time. He answers almost instantly "I'm still just an image. No touch." he replies in a monotone voice, making rose ask herself if he's even a little bit sad about this, but deep down inside she knows he's heartbroken "Can't you come through properly?" She asks hopefully, "The whole thing would fracture. Two universes would collapse." He says "So?" She replies laughing slightly, but tears threaten to spill, "Where are we? Where did the gap come out?" He avoids her eye contact, switching the conversation, he wants to come through, he wants to be with her, to hug her, to kiss her..but he can't, no matter how much he wants to, he needs to, he can't. Rose notices his quick topic change and the look in his eyes so she decides not to bring it up again "We're in Norway." she replies, "Norway. Right." she looks at her feet "About fifty miles out of Burgen. It's called 'Dårlig Ulv Stranden'." "Dalek?" he says to himself "Dårlig. It's Norwegian for bad. This translates as Bad Wolf Bay. How long have we got?" Her voice shaking desperately "About two minutes." he says looking at the time on one of the TARDIS screens. "I can't think of what to say!" Rose says half laughing, half wanting to curl up on the floor and cry. The Doctor pauses for a second "You've still got Mister Mickey, then?" he says using his head to point out Mikey, suddenly there's a long pause as the doctor waits for Rose to reapply, she wasn't sure of what to say next, a couple weeks ago she found out she was pregnant, and now she cant decide to tell to tell him or not, but she has to, right? "There's five of us now. Mum, Dad, Mickey and....the baby." there's another long pause "You're not?" he says, fuck rose thinks to herself why did she have to say that! that's not the face of someone happy about becoming a dad, but then again he wouldn't get to even see it, he'd be heartbroken if he was told the truth.
