He Xuan was stunned as he noticed another ship entering into the territory of Black Water Demon Lair.

It's inhabitants had to undoubtedly be stubborn, otherwise they wouldn't have entered it. There was a barrier, but it wasn't immune to everything, after all.

Curiously, He Xuan left the Nether Water Manor, his residence on Black Water Island. After all, it wasn't everyday a ship entered. However, when the ghost walked outside, he already saw it sinking.

What a shame, he would've loved seeing visitors. It would've made things much more interesting. But that was just how things were.

One thing that He Xuan didn't expect, however, was the fact that there was a person. An alive person, trying their hardest to stay above water. And that person was holding a child.

He Xuan may have been a demon, but he wasn't completely evil. So, with a sigh, he moved toward the two people, and scooted them out swiftly. Back at the shore, he let them drop on the sand, arms crossed.
