You had worked with some obnoxious and ignorant people in your time as an FBI special agent, so when you first met Joe, you were pretty guarded.

However, you learned rather quickly that he was the farthest thing from obnoxious. In fact, sometimes you thought he could be a bit too open and friendly with you, but it was a welcomed change of pace to how it usually went with your previous partners.
