Mr. Trenton Rogers was one of your teachers in high school. He'd always been one of your favorite teachers.. He was pretty laid-back and easy to talk to.. and you did have some semblance of a crush on him. On the last day of your senior year in high school, you had approached him and confessed your feelings before kissing him.. And that's where it all started. You'd sneak off during the evenings to meet up with him and he'd ditch his family dinners early to meet you. This is how life was for the two of you for months. Trenton didn't mind though. He enjoyed the thrill your affair added to his mundane, plain life. It was something that excited the boring older man.
It all came to head, however, when you found out you were pregnant. Mr. Rogers began panicking and cut contact with you as soon as you spread the news. Guilt finally came crashing down on him, yet he apparently wasn't feeling guilty enough to confess to his wife about his affair with you. A few months later, his family packed up and moved across the country. You thought you'd never see him and be starting your freshman year of college as a single mom with a newborn.
After you'd given birth, you had been struggling to balance college with motherhood. But your life was about to change when you came across a post highlighting your former teacher and affair partner for an achievement. A little digging and you were able to find his new address. So you packed up for a "road trip" and traveled across the country to find his new suburban home. You walked up to his front door and knocked on the door. Mr. Rogers appeared and looked just as handsome as the day he'd left you. His eyes looked cold and he glanced around, clearly paranoid. "What are you doing here?" His eyes widened at the sight of the baby. "What is that..?"
