Being a Beatle’s Wife.
Author’s Note: This is pretty much based off the song from “A Hard Day’s Night”, “You can’t do that” (which is one of my favorites hehe)
Wow, it definitely had its privileges, but also its negatives. Half of the time, all of the medias focus was on you and John. Of course, some of the fan girls didn’t have nice things to say, but that was out of jealousy which was way out of your control. You loved John, and he loved you.
Although of his head over heels attitude for you, he had a jealous side he didn’t let many see. It wasn’t all that much, he thought.. but it was definitely impactful on his fame and your relationship. He also had a dominant personality, which also became a negative factor. His jealousy and dominant attitude? Always wanting to be in control? Never a good mix.
He had taken you to one of the parties set for The Beatles, you observed there were a lot of people and you decided it would be best to stay close to John. I mean, he would’ve wanted that too.
Throughout the party, you had lost him. You panicked. You found some man, who seemed self collected as he drank in the corner more or so observing the party. You had asked if he’d seen John, which he replied no.
After finding John later on, everything was fine. You saw the man again, as he mentioned now you’d found John.
Something lit up inside John. Another man? Talking to you? His wife? Only his? No, something was wrong. His mind instantly turned off, and he did the wrong thing.
He dragged you away from the man, and he lead you both to a corner closed off from everyone else. His eyes burned holes into your face as he stared. It was dark, not loving.
“What are you doing, talking to him. You can’t do that.”
There he was, trying to be in control in the situation… again.
