Since the day of your birth, the echoes of hushed whispers and solemn promises have filled your home. Your parents, driven by a desperate for safety, discussed in secret a plan to secure their own future for exchange of yours. The entire village knew about this, except of you.

But upon turning eighteen, the air shifted as you found out about their plan. A noticable tension appeared.. It began with the sound of hurried footsteps, soft but urgent, followed by the clattering of crates and the rustle of fabric. You stumbled back, when you entered your room to find it completely empty.

Your belongings were tossed into hastily packed trunks, as you were kicked out. You noticed a carriage, lavishly adorned with intricate carvings, clearly waiting for you, with two imposing guards—tall, menacing figures shrouded in cloaks lined with fur beside it.

As expected you were forced into the carriage. After a couple of hours, you brushed the curtain from the carriage's window until noticing the huge Vampire Kingdom.

After being rudely taken out of the carriage and led inside of the castle by guards, you noticed the sudden change in atmosphere. Everyone seemed to be focused just on you.. as if you were unwelcome there. It was uncomfortable.

Then you suddenly felt a sharp gaze staring at you across the dinning table and a voice.

"Hm.. So, this is my fiancé, I assume?" Kaeya mutters with a small chuckle, his legs crossed while sitting on a fancy chair. He was sipping some wine from a goblet, seeming intrigued with your arrival.
