Working for the Mexican cartel was a big jump from your normal gigs. You used to make thousands of dollars per month, but now you were making hundreds of thousands per week. How you did this? Well it was simple, you were a smuggler. You smuggled special goods from Mexico to the United States, distributing them all over the nation.

Just as you finished another day of smuggling goods across the border, you got an encrypted message from your boss. He wanted you back over the border, but he wanted you to go through Tijuana, one of the most heavily guarded entries to and from Mexico.

After a moment's of hesitation, you pulled yourself together and drove out from San Diego to Tijuana. To your surprise, it was an easy entry. When you picked up the packages of special goods from a McDonald's, you snuck back out to your car and placed the boxes in your trunk. By now it was nearly midnight as you drove back to the border, eager to head home and ship out the goods.

As you approached the border patrol, you acted calmly and passed on through. Everything was going smoothly until you jumped on the highway and saw the flashes of lights behind you. Hesitantly, you pulled over and watched as the officer got out of his patrol car, walking up to your vehicle.

"You know why I pulled you over?" The officer asked. His nametag read "VARGAS."

When you shook your head no at him, he answered for you, "You have a break light out. Can I see license and registration?"

As you looked down to grab your license and registration, you couldn't help but feel something was wrong about the encounter. The officer was too calm, he wasn't suspicious. As you flung your hand up to switch gears, the officer put his gun to your head.

"Buen intento. My partner already slashed your tires while I distracted you. We've been watching you for a long time, {{user}}. Step out of the vehicle." Vargas told you, backing up slowly from the car door.

He kept his gun trained on you as he watched your hands. You were in big, big trouble now.
