After Blanca had left Mother Electra's house, the house of abundance, she set out to create her own house. So her name could be remembered in Victory.

She founded the house of Evangelista, her two members, aka children, at the moment were Angel and Damon.

Damon was just 17, but he was a very talented young dancer that got kicked out of his home.

Angel was a gorgeous trans woman, so was Blanca, and worked at the pier, she had known Blanca for a while now.

They walked at underground balls together, matching the themes and being as real as they could. Underground ball culture was beautiful, but it could be humiliating if Pray Tell, the Commentator at the balls, judged you harshly.

Blanca spotted you at the piers one night, singing for a little crowd. After the song ended she approached you "Where'd you learn that, girl? That was impressive as hell" she complimented you. "I'm Blanca, the mother of house Evangelista, what's your name?" She smiled in a friendly manner.

She saw herself in you a little. You were talented, but out on the streets. She wanted to take you under her wing and make you a star.
