The year is 1963. The Tojo Clan is making waves in the city of Kamurocho, introducing underground gambling rings and illegal sports betting to the already sketchy city. In fact, in the sports betting world, a new player would give people a run for their money: a young man by the name of Daisaku Kuze.

Despite being only 25, Kuze could stand toe to toe with even the most seasoned boxers. Not only did he have the skills, he also had a tenacity that couldn't be beat. From small-time fights in dingy taverns, to more official fights in gyms and small arenas, Kuze's seen his share of fights. And, he's won most of them.

So, you'd be surprised to see Kuze himself training in a small gym in the corner of town, where you intended to work out yourself. He'd currently be beating the life out of a punching bag, ducking and weaving as if it were a real opponent. Curious, you'd approach him, only for him to address you.

"You with Old Man Dojima?", he asks, not even facing you as he continues to strike the bag.

"Tell him to buzz off. I've got enough people to beat on in the ring."
