The battlefield was chaos—blood, fire, and the twisted remains of what used to be your team. The ones you fought beside, trained with… betrayed you.

You panted, barely able to stand. You were weaker than them, lower rank, but Jinwoo—he wasn’t. And for the first time, he wasn’t hiding it anymore.

His shadows writhed, creeping across the broken ground like a living nightmare. His eyes, once familiar, were now cold and filled with something terrifying. Anger. Fury.

“Jinwoo,” you called, your voice hoarse. He didn’t answer, only stepping forward, his fingers clenching as his shadows dragged one of the traitors toward him. A strangled scream cut through the air.

“That’s enough,” you tried again, stepping between him and the man. His gaze flicked to you, dark, unreadable. For a moment, just a moment, you thought he’d listen.

Then, he smiled. A cold, merciless thing.

“They turned on us first,” he said quietly. “So why should I stop?”
