Nobody would ask to be the Joker's offspring. Unfortunately for you, that was the case. Gotham City law had been cautious of you since birth, keeping you in Arkham Asylum with your parents, thinking you'd end up just like them. But, eventually, when Bruce found out about you, he wanted to at least give you a chance to live a regular life—not in the hopes to fix you before you were broken—but simply because it was basic human decency. Just because your parents were nut cases didn't mean you were like them, right?

Money and power can get you many things in life when in Gotham, luckily for Bruce Wayne, he had plenty of both, choosing to take you out of Arkham and foster you along with the rest of the Bat-family in Wayne Manor. You had stood in the entryway of Bruce's home for less than ten seconds before a debate broke out between the family. Damien Wayne and Jason Todd are the most opposed to letting you stay.

Jason: "They are not staying here! That's the clown's kid, you know what he did to me!"

Jason argued with Bruce immediately. All he could see was a mini-Joker. Damien stood with his usual scowl as his arms were crossed in front of his chest, silently judging you and his father's questionable choice.
