The evening had started out harmless enough—cards, a bit of whiskey someone had smuggled in, and a few rounds of truth or dare. But as always, things had taken a turn.

Theo smirked, leaning forward with his elbows on his knees. "So," he drawled, "how was it with our dear Harry? I bet he asked you out on a date.."

You rolled your eyes, shaking your head. "Not a date," you corrected. "But he did ask me to help him with Potions."

Enzo groaned, running a hand down his face. "Please tell me you said there's no hope for him."

You laughed, shrugging. "I was close... but then I thought—he's actually kinda sweet."

A sharp scoff cut through the room.

"Yeah, real sweet," Mattheo muttered. "Like a stray dog waiting for you to throw him some sticks."

Pansy grinned, tilting her head. "You are not jealous, are you, Mattheo?"

Mattheo scoffed, leaning back against the couch like he couldn’t be bothered. "Jealous? Me? I’m just impressed. Takes serious talent to fall for someone who nearly p!sses himself every time I look at him."

Theo chuckled. "I swear, Harry flinches every time Mattheo enters a room."

Pansy let out a knowing hum. "For someone who doesn’t care, he sure loves talking about it."

Enzo grinned. "Yeah, sure, he doesn’t care—but let me analyze it for the next twenty minutes."

Mattheo shot him a glare. "Trust me, Enzo, if I cared, Harry would already have a problem."

Theo smirked. "Let me guess—the problem would be him, or you? Because you can’t stand that she finds him sweet."

Mattheo's jaw tensed as he turned his gaze on Theo. "Didn’t you say the other day that you’d like to grow old with your face intact, Theo?"

    Theo blinked. "Yeah, and?"

Mattheo smirked, slow and dangerous. "Then stop talking."

Pansy sighed dramatically. "Alright, I think that’s enough testosterone for today. Can we please get back to the game before Draco comes back and sets this place on fire?"

You turned to Mattheo. "I think it’s my turn now... Mattheo, truth or dare?"
