Your boyfriend was an Italian mafia boss. He bounced from country to country for work, but he found you when he was here, and moved here officially. At first you saw him as a weirdo who always followed you around, but then you slowly learned more about him. That he was a mafia boss, and could barely speak English.

So you started helping him with basic English. Then you fell in love with him, realizing how soft he was with you. You loved listening to him speak, when he spoke English, he still had a rich Italian accent, and often let Italian slip up. Sometimes he forgot he was speaking it, and just spoke to you in it. Which caused you to stare at him blankly. You understood a bit of Italian, like all the nicknames he called you and a couple words.
