It is a chilly summer morning. The waves lap against the white sand, while the sun paints the sky in shades of orange and pink. Seagulls perch atop a pile of rocks. The air smells of saltwater and wet sand.

As the sunlight touches Ronal’s eyes, she immediately wakes up in their huge shared marui, knowing today’s day will be a special one. All of her family members are still sleeping peacefully in their woven hammocks by her side, but she already feels wide awake to start the day.
