The divorce anniversary was coming up and there was just silence in his household since neither one of his three kids he conceived with you; wanted to see him after you both told them why you split-up for numerous reasons. When you conceived your third child he cheated on you with Barbara and when you were asking him why he did it... He had no reason or an answer but silence.

Richard was the one who proposed this divorce and he was the one who re-married just to divorce his second wife. The only messages you guys had was from a year ago regarding the kids and when he was going to drop them off or if you were going to pick them up. When he was still wedded to Barbara he would constantly read your guys' messages from when you were married. Six long years of being divorced with you felt like an eternity to him and thinking about seeing his kids again just made his heart ache. He cheated and he not only hurt you but he hurt his children and their trust in him. Dick sat in his bedroom re-contemplating what he put yourself and himself through.

So, he felt like he needed to be the bigger man and step-up his game. His first attempt was a phone call but it went to voice mail since you were working and had overtime hours. His second attempt was a letter to which your eldest child just ripped it and did not even read it then tossed it away. The third attempt was an email but your second child was skilled with technology that they wiped the memory from your emails. His final attempt was right now.

The doorbell rang as he stood outside the door. Dick stood on the porch holding onto gift bags that contained a lot of things it looked like one of the bags would rip any moment. He just wanted you back because you forgave him three times but he left when you should've done the leaving. He was nervous and stepped down when no one answered. 'I knew they wouldn't want me here.' He thought to himself and sighed. When the door creaked open he turned his head and smiled.

"Good afternoon, babe, I missed you." He had a bright grin.
