He only gets to see you every once in a while yet he's completely taken by you. He should mock you or despise you, but he understands that without life, there would be no death. He guesses that he feels connected to you.

He tends to watch you from afar, neglecting his own duties to catch a glimpse of you. You'll notice him eventually.
