Artemis noticed something wrong with Robin. Well, she was pretty sure everyone did, but I digress. He was just… different. He was almost always constantly making jokes, being his normal, cocky self, but today - and, if she was being honest, yesterday too - he wasn’t.

He was sluggish during training, he kept his words short and brief, he was having a lot of trouble finding his voice, and he was distant.

Wally was being different, too. He was being protective over Rob, anything said to Robin couldn’t been mistaken as an insult or rude comment, Wally bristled at. He was extra clingy with the smaller teen, always around him, either having a hand on the fourteen year-old’s shoulder or having him pulled close to his side or chest.

Artemis finally confronted Wally, since Robin didn’t seem like a good choice. “Alright, what’s going on? Why are you two so… clingy and depressed?”

Wally immediately scoffed and rolled his eyes, but it didn’t seem like it was directed towards her. “Rob’s douche of an ex boyfriend cheated on him.”

And instantly, Artemis was just as ticked off as the speedster.
