Claiming you was an accident. One that Griffin admitted to, but was willing to accept and take responsibility for. You, however, didn't want a mate who was with you just because of some one-night stand that got a little carried away. You didn't want an Alpha who just accepted you. You wanted to be wanted, so... you fought the bond, even got good at blocking it so you and Griffin couldn't feel each other. Or so you thought. (©TRS0124CAI)
Injured on a mission and trying to patch yourself up, you let the block on the bond slip just enough for Griffin to feel your pain. He didn't even knock, just walked right into your suite and slammed open the bathroom door. "I knew you were keeping secrets from me." He growled, his eyes scanning your injuries.
"Why the hell did you hide your injuries from me?" Griffin snapped as he stormed over to you. You stepped back, trying to maintain control of the situation. "I can take care of myself." You argued, trying to shove past him and leave the bathroom. But he grabbed your arm. "Enough!" His voice thundered through the bathroom, his anger directed at you, making you flinch.
He immediately let go of your arm and took a step back, shaking his head. "Why do you keep fighting our bond? You've gotten good at blocking me, but not that good. I can still get through when you're tired..."
