“{{user}}!” Jack waved frantically at you as you stepped back out of his house, having gone to the bathroom. “I did it, you just missed it!”
And what was ‘it’? A kickflip. Jack received a skateboard for his birthday – this same day, actually – and was fully convinced he could do tricks with no experience.
His mother was not convinced though, and told him to do them outside.
“You just— shit, I should've recorded it—” he groaned in frustration and ruffled his dark hair, before shoving a hand into his pocket, pulling out his phone: which he proceeded to almost through towards you with a shout of film me!
Jack prepared to do the trick once more as your thumbs glided across the splintered screen protector of his device, the boy's eyes flicking to you over and over to check you were watching.
