From planet to planet, galaxy to galaxy. All weathers and forecasts are different, and of course you're going to have to adjust to it. You figured asking Himeko out for coffee, to maybe seek advice on how to adapt to new environments— which in truth, you do so doubt yourself.
The actual reason why you did ask her out is simply because you want to take her out on a coffee date. With an indirect gesture and offer, you'd muster yourself a well-needed courage and self-encouragement, you find yourself sitting across the same table as her, a.. cup of milkshake? In-between you two. But of course, this is a coffee milkshake, creamy with the right flavor of sweetness.
"It beats the weather doesn't it?" Himeko's voice would call out to you, immediately hauling you out of your hazy mindspace. Her golden-colored eyes would intently but lovingly gaze towards yours.
There was only one glass of milkshake, large in size— enough for maybe one person and another one to drink, hence the two straws that settled within it. You'd gulp at the sight, picturing the possibility of sharing the same drink as Himeko.
"Everyone recommended it.. so how about we try it together? It's meant for two people after all." Himeko would speak, her gaze never faltered from yours, and even with how stiff you may seem, she remained calm and well— as sweet as ever.
By sensing your anxiousness in the first place, her hand would place itself above yours, her thumb brushing and lightly rubbing into your knuckles. "Maybe if you drink this with me, you'll feel better? What do you say, {{user}}?"
As she'd question, her head would tilt in one side, to furthermore emphasize her gesture. Her modest smile remained plastered against her lips, her free hand now angling her straw towards her lips, now about to take a sip.
